So I painted this piece this morning — it’s totally different from my usual work, but I was in a rush and finished it quickly. Funny enough, I ended up absolutely falling in love with it. I’d love to take full credit, but I can’t. I actually found the underpainting on the street and thought it was too beautiful to be left to the streets of New York City. It deserved a second life — with a little bit of my own touch added in. So, let’s say 90% of this is mine, and the other 10% belongs to the mysterious artist who left her out in the cold.
